  • San Jose International Airport (SJO) This airport approx. 3.5hours from Uvita, depending on traffic. Our homeland is about 15 minutes outside of Uvita, between Uvita and Dominical.

    From SJO you can:

    ✺ride one of our pre-booked shuttles

    ✺rent a car

    ✺ride a different shuttle

    ✺ take a domestic hopper plane to the Quepos La Managua Airport (XQP) This airport is only 40min from Dominical.

  • February 1st, 2024 for our New Moon Gathering

  • Respectfully no. Due to the sacred nature and closed container of the gathering we can’t have women arriving part way through. We’ve tried this in past years and it disrupts the container too much.

    This year we will be allowing local women to sleep at home and come to the gathering during the days.

    We highly encourage you to arrange your schedule to be able to attend the entire gathering start to finish! It’ll be worth it ✺

  • Yes. Every workshop is included in your ticket price. The only additional funds that are required with workshops are for materials fees. Not every workshop has materials fees.

    Workshops that may charge for materials are classes like: shibori dyeing, medicine drum making, jewelry making, etc.

    Some ceremonies also have donations amounts for the space holders, including the temazcal.

  • Our 2024 lineup is completely full. We hope you’ll join us as a participant this February!

    There are still a few Sacred Stewardship (worktrade/volunteer) positions open, you can apply here.

  • Your camping spot is included. You’ve got to bring your own tent set up or rent one from us.

  • Yes. There is potable drinking water throughout the property from the city asada water. There is also spring water in select areas on the land.

  • Gorgeous!! Mid to high 80’sF during the days, high 60’sF - low 70’sF at night. You can expect sunshine during the days, with occasional cloud cover. Be prepared for some humidity and to sweat during the days. There may be a couple evening rains that come through, so be prepared with a light layer and a rain flap for your tent. It’s dry season, but we’re still in the lush jungle!

  • The river walk takes anywhere from 10-20 minutes depending on where on the land you’re journeying from.

  • Sorry you can’t make it this year! You have 2 options for ticket transfers (we don’t offer any refunds).

    1. You may credit your 2024 gathering credit to our 2025 gathering. Send us an email letting us know this is your choice.

    2. You can sell your ticket to another woman wishing to attend Origins. You are responsible for the monetary exchange for the value of the ticket at the price you purchased it, no upselling tickets allowed. Once you’ve sold the ticket, please send us an email.

    We will also start a waitlist for those wishing to sell their tickets. We will not begin the matching process to new ticket buyers until we’ve sold out. If you’d like to be added to the waitlist please email us.
