The Death Cafe is a container focused on the exploration of topics surrounding the end of life, with room for all belief systems and perspectives to come together. Deathspeak is too often swept under the rug in the Western world and yet the end smiles at us all. In this circle we will use the Death Deck as an icebreaker to initiate conversation about the ideas, concepts, traditions and rituals surrounding death. Bring a notebook!

Jamie Satori

Jamie is a holistic community midwife living in the South Pacific of Costa Rica with her family. Her offering and commitment is to tend the gateways into and out of both our bodies and our planet, helping to reclaim the sacred nature of birth and death and return it to the people. She believes in radical sovereignty and the inner power that comes from being active participants in our own rites of passage. Jamie holds containers for birth, grief and the exploration of deathspeak both in person and online.
