Tincture Making and Nature as a Guide: This workshop will discuss the foundational aspects of holistic healing as a modality to preserve life and maintain a harmonious balance of energies which have both material and immaterial aspects that affect a human being's reality. In addition to the discussion, participants will experience making a tincture and testing kemetic herbal recipes.

Born on the coast in the South of India and raised in the US, Jahzra entered Dogon initiation with The Earth Center in 2008, studying under elder students of the late Dogon Master Healer, Neb Naba Lamoussa Morodenibig. In 2017 she started studying with Dogon Naba Iritah and has traveled throughout West Africa working with indigenous healers. Jahzra has sat in on countless consultation sessions with healers and has been apprenticing at the Ankhkasta Natural Healing Center in Togo, attending to a variety of physical, energetic and spiritual matters. She resides in Burkina Faso with her family of six children and travels between West Africa and the United States spreading the mission of reuniting people with indigenous ancestral practices to help navigate modern life.

Djedka Zeshera is a descendant of the indigenous people of Norther Mexico. Since childhood, Djedka has always been drawn to studying spirituality and the mysteries of the Universe. During her spiritual journey she was eventually led to cross paths with her Spiritual teacher, Naba Iritah Shenmira from the Dogon tribe, who encouraged her to begin her initiation under the Dogon initiation systems. She has now been in initiation for over a decade studying healing and spirituality. Currently Djedka is a part of the Ankhasta Natural Healing team where she helps oversee distribution of herbs from Dogon healers to people all over the world. Djedka currently lives in Houston Texas with her husband and four children, where she and her husband are also caretakers for the Houston Temple.
