General Information
What is the Origins Gathering?
Origins Gathering is an annual event where women from diverse backgrounds come together to celebrate, heal, and grow. It takes place in the lush jungles of Costa Rica and offers a blend of ancient wisdom, modern practices, and profound connections.
We unite around a common desire to reconnect with earth wisdom, heal our plant, remember our humanity, walk the paths of our ancestors, and learn to be skilled women. We are the change we wish to see in the world.Â
When and where does the gathering take place?
The next gatherings will be held from January 13-17 & 23-26, 2025, on the Southern Pacific coast of Costa Rica.Â
Each gathering is 5 days long, with an option for staying for an extra night/day. If you can stay for both gatherings, we encourage you to do so as each will be unique in their energies + offerings.
Who can attend the gathering?
The gathering is open to all women, from all walks of life, cultures, countries, and ages. We also welcome children to come along with their mothers.Â
How do I register for the gathering?
You can register for the gathering through our website:Â www.originsgathering.com/gatherings. Simply follow the registration link, fill out the necessary information, and complete the payment process.
What is included in the registration fee?
The registration fee (ticket) includes access to all workshops and ceremonies during the gathering you choose. Your ticket also includes 2 meal meals per day (breakfast and dinner) and a camping spot.
Additional services, such as spa treatments, glamping, camping tent rentals, lunches, late departure, and shuttles are considered add-ons.
Are there any payment plans available?
Yes, we offer flexible payment plans to make it easier for you to attend. Please check the registration page for more details on the available options.
What are the accommodation options?
We offer various accommodation options, including glamping setups, ready-to-go rental tents, and spaces to pitch your own tent.
What facilities are available on-site?
The site includes outdoor showers, hand-washing stations, compost toilets, and designated communal areas for gathering, eating, and relaxing.
What health and safety measures are in place?
We prioritize the health and safety of all attendees. The site is equipped with first aid supplies, and there will be trained medical personnel on-site. We also have protocols in place for emergencies and weather-related situations.
What should I bring to the gathering?
A detailed packing list will be provided upon registration, but essentials include comfortable clothing, a good rainfly for your tent, personal toiletries, water bottle, and your own bowl/plate/cup/utensils.
Activities and Workshops
What types of workshops and activities are offered?
The gatherings offer a wide range of workshops and activities, including herbalism, earth skills, storytelling, music, yoga, meditation, dance, and rituals. All are designed to liberate, empower and inspire.
Do I need to sign up for workshops in advance?
Some workshops may require advance sign-up due to limited space. Details on how to sign up will be provided in your welcome packet and through our online portal.
